The Project...

Well today we did quite the project. We painted the new dressers that we bought for Levi's "big boy room." I dont think we realized how big of a project this would be. So after a ward BBQ we got home and prepared for the painting. After the first hour Levi was just about done playing in the toy car and with Daddys tools, so he headed for a nap. We got in as much as we could then and after about an hour he awoke from the deep slumber and wanted to play. We, however, still had plenty of work to do. So we did what any respectable parent would do. We bribed him with oreos and chocolate milk. That gave us about another hour of work time. After that he was just about as mad at us as he could possibly be. so Dan hurried and finished his jobs within the project and got him out of the play pen and played. I finished painting and, i will tell ya, after 3 hours of sitting indian style and being 8 months pregnant, i felt like my legs and hips were going to break under me when i stood up. But we did finish the painting and we will assemble them on Monday and i will post some pics of the final product!! And of course, pics of fathers day!!
